2. Data we collect and purposes

2.1 Registration form

When you request the electric scooter registration service, we collect the following data:

  • Identification data: first name, surname, ID/NIE
  • Contact details: email address, phone number
  • Vehicle data: make, model, serial number, type of certification
  • Documents provided: photographs of ID/NIE, technical data sheet, driving licence

Purpose: execution of the contracted service (registration of the VMP in the DGT Vehicle Register) and communications relating to the status of your procedure.

Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).

While you fill in the form, your name, surname, email, phone and address are saved in your own browser (not on our server) for 48 hours, so you don’t lose them if the page reloads or if you come back later on the same device. They are deleted after 48 hours, when you go to payment or when you press “Clear my details”. Your DNI or NIE and your documents are not saved.

Where you came from: if you accept analytics cookies, your order also tells us the page where you first landed and where you came from (for example, Google). We only use it to see which pages work best; if you don’t accept them, nothing is saved.

2.2 Contact form

If you send us a message via the contact form, we collect: name, email address and the content of your message.

While you type, what you enter is saved in your own browser (not on our server) for 48 hours, in case the page reloads or you come back later. It is deleted when you send it or press “Clear my details”.

Purpose: responding to your enquiry.

Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).

2.3 Feedback on our service

When we finish your procedure, we may write to you once, by email and within the following 30 days, to ask how you rate our service. You don't have to reply.

Purpose: to learn your opinion so we can improve our service and make it known.

Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).

You can object at any time by replying “STOP” to that email or by writing to patinetes@ntcars.es.

2.4 Cookies and browsing

The website may collect browsing data through cookies. Please consult the Cookie Policy for more information.

2.5 Consent record

When you order a service we keep a record of what you accept: the date and time, your IP address, your browser and language, the exact wording of the boxes you tick, the version of the legal documents in force that day (legal notice, privacy and shipping policy) and the payment details (Stripe reference and amount).

Purpose: to be able to prove your consent and the terms you accepted, and to defend your rights and those of NT Cars in case of any claim.

Legal basis: compliance with legal obligations (art. 6.1.c GDPR) and legitimate interest in defending claims (art. 6.1.f GDPR).

3. Disclosure of data to third parties

In order to provide the registration service, 2026 NT CARS, SL must disclose the identification data of the holder and vehicle to the Directorate General of Traffic (DGT), the competent public authority. This disclosure is strictly necessary for the execution of the contracted service.

We do not share data with any other company for commercial or advertising purposes.

The form service may be managed through a technology provider (processor) acting under our instructions and under a data processing agreement.

4. International transfers

We do not transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), unless strictly necessary and with appropriate safeguards in accordance with GDPR.

5. Retention periods

  • Registration service data: during the contractual relationship and thereafter for the limitation periods provided for in applicable legislation (minimum 5 years for accounting and tax obligations).
  • Contact form data: the time necessary to respond to your enquiry, and at most 1 year from the last contact.
  • Consent records: 6 years from the order. They are kept even if you ask for your data to be erased, only for defence against claims (art. 17.3.e GDPR).

6. Your rights

You may exercise the following rights at any time:

  • Access: obtain confirmation of whether we process your data and access them.
  • Rectification: request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Erasure: request deletion of your data when they are no longer necessary.
  • Restriction: request restriction of processing in certain circumstances.
  • Portability: receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
  • Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interest.

To exercise these rights, send an email to patinetes@ntcars.es stating the right you wish to exercise and enclosing a copy of your ID/NIE.

If you consider that the processing does not comply with the regulations, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) at www.aepd.es.

7. Security

2026 NT CARS, SL applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the security of personal data and to prevent its alteration, loss, processing or unauthorised access, taking into account the state of technology and the nature of the data processed.

All communication between your browser and our server is carried out via encrypted HTTPS/TLS connection.

8. Minors

In the case of minors (VMP registered in the name of a minor), the legal guardian is responsible for providing and authorising the use of the minor's data. 2026 NT CARS, SL does not collect data from minors without the consent of the legal guardian.

9. Amendments

2026 NT CARS, SL reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy. Any relevant changes will be communicated to affected users and published on this page.
