Required documents
For us to process it you need your DNI or NIE (foreigner identity number), to be registered (empadronado) in Spain and to identify yourself with one of these three methods: Cl@ve PIN, a digital certificate or a Spanish driving licence (with the licence you don't need Cl@ve or a digital certificate). For the scooter: if it is certified, the certificate number and the serial number; if not, a photo of the technical data sheet or of the plate showing the serial number.
The list depends on whether your scooter is certified or not. Choose your case:
Valid DNI or NIE of the scooter's owner (front and back). You need to be registered (empadronado) in Spain.
A valid Spanish driving licence (front and back), Cl@ve PIN or a digital certificate. If you have a Spanish driving licence, you don't need Cl@ve or a digital certificate: we identify you with your licence and handle the whole procedure for you. The licence is only used to identify you; you don't need one to ride a scooter.
You don't need to type them: we read them from the photo of the marking plate or the data sheet. The certificate number identifies the model in the DGT's list; the serial number, your scooter.

The DGT fee (€8.67) is included in the service price (€35, VAT included).

Next steps after receiving the certificate
The DGT document that proves the registration and assigns your scooter its number (format M 0000 AAA).
With the registration PDF you can order the identification plate (the identification label the DGT requires, which many people call a number plate or sticker): from us for €15 + €4.95 shipping, or from another authorised number-plate processor.
