2. Data we collect and purposes

2.1 Registration form

When you request the electric scooter registration service, we collect the following data:

  • Identification data: first name, surname, ID/NIE, date of birth
  • Contact details: email address, phone number
  • Vehicle data: make, model, serial number, type of certification
  • Documents provided: photographs of ID/NIE, technical data sheet, driving licence

Purpose: execution of the contracted service (registration of the VMP in the DGT National Register) and communications relating to the status of your procedure.

Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).

2.2 Contact form

If you send us a message via the contact form, we collect: name, email address and the content of your message.

Purpose: responding to your enquiry.

Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).

2.3 Cookies and browsing

The website may collect browsing data through cookies. Please consult the Cookie Policy for more information.

3. Disclosure of data to third parties

In order to provide the registration service, NT Cars SL must disclose the identification data of the holder and vehicle to the Directorate General of Traffic (DGT), the competent public authority. This disclosure is strictly necessary for the execution of the contracted service.

We do not share data with any other company for commercial or advertising purposes.

The form service may be managed through a technology provider (processor) acting under our instructions and under a data processing agreement.

4. International transfers

We do not transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), unless strictly necessary and with appropriate safeguards in accordance with GDPR.

5. Retention periods

  • Registration service data: during the contractual relationship and thereafter for the limitation periods provided for in applicable legislation (minimum 5 years for accounting and tax obligations).
  • Contact form data: the time necessary to respond to your enquiry, and at most 1 year from the last contact.

6. Your rights

You may exercise the following rights at any time:

  • Access: obtain confirmation of whether we process your data and access them.
  • Rectification: request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Erasure: request deletion of your data when they are no longer necessary.
  • Restriction: request restriction of processing in certain circumstances.
  • Portability: receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
  • Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interest.

To exercise these rights, send an email to patinetes@ntcars.es stating the right you wish to exercise and enclosing a copy of your ID/NIE.

If you consider that the processing does not comply with the regulations, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) at www.aepd.es.

NT Cars SL applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the security of personal data and to prevent its alteration, loss, processing or unauthorised access, taking into account the state of technology and the nature of the data processed.

All communication between your browser and our server is carried out via encrypted HTTPS/TLS connection.

8. Minors

In the case of minors (VMP registered in the name of a minor), the legal guardian is responsible for providing and authorising the use of the minor's data. NT Cars SL does not collect data from minors without the consent of the legal guardian.

9. Amendments

NT Cars SL reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy. Any relevant changes will be communicated to affected users and published on this page.
