The process and required documents differ depending on whether your scooter is DGT-certified or not. Select your case.
Valid national ID (DNI) or foreigner ID (NIE) of the vehicle owner (front and back).
Valid driving licence of the owner (front and back).

The administrative fee is included in the service price (29.95 €).

Next steps after receiving the certificate
The official DGT document certifies your ownership and assigns a unique identifier to the vehicle.
With the certificate you can purchase the label to place in your scooter's identification holder.
Once your scooter is registered, you can take out the compulsory civil liability insurance required to ride.
